Charlie joined us as a young, enthusiastic team member with no industry experience. From day one, he showed determination, curiosity, and a willingness to get stuck in. Recognising that potential, we invested in his training and development, pairing him with experienced engineers and giving him the opportunity to learn directly on the job. 

Reflecting on his journey so far, Charlie said: 

“My experience at Leading Environmental Solutions has been amazing. Over my time here, I’ve learnt many lessons, but the most important one is to always believe in yourself. One of the biggest positives of this role is the amount of knowledge you gain, but for me the best part has been the team around me. They’ve supported me so much throughout the year and helped me achieve the goals I set for myself. My advice to anyone starting out would be always believe in yourself. When something unexpected happens, don’t get disheartened – take it on the chin, because every job is different. Looking ahead, my plan is to become a team leader so I can pass on the knowledge and support I’ve received to other young people starting their own journeys.”
