Over the past five months, Leading Environmental Solutions has continued to grow – not just in the size of our national operation, but in the depth of expertise and capability we offer our clients. As demand across multi-site and national portfolios increases, investing in our people has remained a core focus.
Growth for us isn’t just about coverage; it’s about continually strengthening our teams, expanding skillsets and maintaining a consistently high standard of service wherever our clients operate. Ongoing training and development play a huge part in making that happen.
During the last few months alone, teams across the business have completed a wide range of qualifications covering compliance, safety, drainage, gas, oil, pump systems and specialist access. Each qualification strengthens our ability to deliver services nationally and support FM partners with confidence through a highly skilled, fully in-house workforce.
Building National Capability Through Training
Electrical Safety & Compliance
Darren and Kieran successfully passed their PAT Testing qualification, alongside Lewis Robinson who also achieved the same certification. This further strengthens our in-house electrical safety and compliance capability across the estate.
Drainage & Specialist Services
Kieran Sanford successfully completed his CIPP lining and patching training, expanding our no-dig drainage repair capability.
Glenn Widdowson, Scott, Adam Deller and Jordan Barr Byford also successfully passed their Water Jetting Awareness and Drains and Sewers (DS) course, reinforcing safe, compliant and effective drainage operations nationwide.
Pump Systems
Lewis Robinson successfully passed his BPMA Pump Repair and Maintenance qualification, strengthening our capability in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining commercial pump systems including sewage pumps, cold water booster sets and central heating pumps.
Gas, Oil & Heating Services
Beau Standing successfully passed his CONGLP1 – LPG qualification, further expanding our LPG service capability.
Beau also successfully completed his CODNC01 changeover qualification (Domestic to Commercial) alongside achieving the CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1 and CCCN1 commercial gas modules. These qualifications enable him to work across a wider range of commercial gas installations and appliances.
Josh, Mario and Luke successfully passed their Unvented Hot Water Storage – BPEC UHWS (G3) qualification, supporting the safe installation and maintenance of unvented hot water systems.
Mario Morais and Beau Standing also successfully passed their OFTEC OFT10-101 / 105E / 600A qualifications, marking a key step in expanding our oil services capability and strengthening our national coverage.
Safety, Access & Working Practices
Beau Standing passed his Lockout / Tagout (Safe Isolation) qualification, reinforcing safe working practices across live environments.
Glen Widdowson successfully passed the PASMA – Mobile Access Towers for Users qualification, supporting safe access and working at height across sites.
Why This Matters
This continued investment in training directly supports our wider growth strategy. It allows us to:
- Expand skills and capability across our national engineering teams
- Increase resilience and depth across all service lines
- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance
- Support growing client demand across multi-site estates
- Provide FM partners with a dependable, scalable national service
As our national footprint continues to grow, so does the capability behind it. The qualifications achieved over the past few months are a clear reflection of the direction we’re heading – building a stronger, more skilled team that can support clients consistently, wherever they operate.
Congratulations to everyone involved on their achievements. We’ll continue investing in our people, our services and our national capability as we move forward.
