Supporting Local Communities

Supporting Local Communities

As we move into the new year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on something that sits at the heart of our business – supporting the communities we’re part of.

While much of our work takes place across national estates and multi-site portfolios, we never lose sight of the importance of local impact. Over the past year, we’ve been proud to contribute to a number of community initiatives that focus on inclusion, opportunity and bringing people together.

Supporting Inclusive Sport

One of the causes we’re particularly proud to support is Hertford Rugby Club, with a special focus on their Mixed Abilities Team. The team does fantastic work to ensure rugby is accessible to everyone, regardless of ability, creating an inclusive and supportive environment both on and off the pitch. Being able to play a small role in supporting this initiative has been a real privilege.

Fundraising for Children’s Charities

In December, our team came together to take part in Christmas Jumper Day, raising £150 for Save the Children. Alongside a bit of festive fun, the day was a great opportunity to support a charity that delivers vital work for children across the UK and around the world.

Supporting Schools and Community Events

We’ve also been pleased to support Manor Fields Primary School, contributing towards various events throughout the year, including their Christmas Fayre. Helping schools create positive experiences for pupils and families is something we value highly.

In addition, we were proud to donate towards the Midlands Irish Dance Championships, supporting a wellorganised community event that brings together dancers, families and supporters from across the region.

Looking Ahead

While these initiatives are all very different, they share a common theme – supporting people, opportunity and inclusion. Giving back where we can is something we’re genuinely proud of and remains an important part of how we operate as a business.

As we move through 2025, we look forward to continuing to support local causes and community initiatives wherever possible.

Thank you to everyone involved – here’s to more community support in the year ahead.
